This is the one of the base principles of be a believer. Think about our fasting, most times we fast for ourselves or because we want something from God. This is false in many of our lives. It is true that God will bless us in our obedience however fasting is a sacrifice unto God and primarily it is not for us. Think on this. Isaiah 58:7 Is it not to share your food with the hungry and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter? when you e the naked, to clothe him, and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood?
Let us all begin to look into our lives and learn to be a living sacrifice in more that serving in our church settings. The more you sacrifice the more you will have success.
